Robert Fitzgerald Obituary, Methuen MA, In Loving Memory of Robert Fitzgerald

Robert Fitzgerald Obituary, Death – Robert Fitzgerald died peacefully on June 30, 64 years of age, before leaving this world to rejoice with the angels. His beloved children, Ciera and Connor, as well as his loving wife of 35 years and best friend, Sharon (Reiche), will miss him beyond words. After graduating from Timon High School in 1977, “Fitz” continued his education at Mercyhurst College.

He was a competitive rower in his younger days and a proud member of Buffalo’s West Side Rowing Club. He worked as a driver for UPS for the following thirty years, and because of his hard work and dedication, he was able to make a lot of friends. He was so well-liked in the towns and cities he traveled that local businesses proudly put up banners saying, “We ship UPS with Bob!” in his honor.

He loved being outside, especially when it came to fishing and hunting. He was an excellent chef who had no issue finding his way around a spice cabinet. He was a kind man, a wonderful spouse, a devoted father, and a unique friend. He was a pleasure to be around and a great asset to any group. We shall never forget his captivating demeanor and the contagious laughter he gave to countless lives.

Bob is survived by his mother, Susanne Fitzgerald, as well as his siblings James (Sheila) Fitzgerald, Susan Clark (Gary), and Lynn Fitzgerald. He also leaves behind his wife and children. “The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love that has been left behind.”
