Marcos Martinez Car Accident – A man from Dutchess County has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a tragic incident that had occurred in Putnam County. The collision had taken place in Dutchess County. According to the Putnam Sheriff’s Office, the individual who was involved in the incident, Marcos Martinez, 56, of Hopewell Junction, was driving northbound on Route 9 just before 10 p.m. on Saturday when it occurred.
Martinez was at the time a resident of Hopewell Junction. Martinez was a party to the fight that broke out. A double yellow line that was located close to Stone Ridge Road was crossed by the driver of the car that was involved in the accident, according to the statements made by the police. As a result, the driver’s vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle that was traveling in the opposite direction.
Joe Stubblefield, a resident of Cortlandt Manor who was 52 years old at the time of his death, was driving the vehicle when he was slain. Stubblefield was also the person who was killed. A passenger in the rear seat who was 7 years old and suffering from injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening was transported to Westchester Medical Center after the accident. The condition of the child was not seen as being life-threatening at any point.
Martinez was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, causing death by automobile, and failing to drive in the appropriate lane while operating a vehicle. Martinez is the one who is being accused of these things. After being charged and arraigned in the Phillipstown Town Court, he was remanded to the Putnam County Jail on the condition that he post a cash bond in the sum of $250,000.
