Emily Higgins Obituary, Death Cause – Emily Sue Higgins, a resident of Elm Street, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the University of Vermont Health Network in Burlington, Vermont. She was 30 years old. She had been fighting cancer for a long time, and she was showing incredible bravery. Emily’s friendly and endearing nature made a significant influence on a large number of people. Many people will be saddened by her passing and express their condolences since they loved her. She was born to Thomas and Nancy Higgins on January 16, 1989, in New Milford, Connecticut.
They had no other children but her. Her biological parents are Thomas and Nancy Higgins. Dover Union Free High School in Dover Plains, New York is where she completed her high school studies and where she graduated in 2007. She then continued her education at Plattsburgh State University, where she graduated with a BA in business administration in 2011. Emily’s most recent job was as the manager of a restaurant chain called Skinny Pancake, which she ran for a long period. The times Emily spent in the kitchen, whether it was preparing a meal, putting food by, or baking a treat, were the times she enjoyed herself the most.
The quality of her pickles was amazing. Like a vast majority of people, Emily was a devoted reader of the Harry Potter books. She had read every installment and watched every film in the series numerous times. For four years, she served as a young volunteer in the Pawling Methodist Church’s young Group. She went to Appalachia as part of her volunteer work to assist low-income homeowners with repairs. She also traveled to several parts of the United States.
Her parents, Tom and Nancy Miller, of Wingdale, New York; her partner, Daniel Keaton Gallager, of Montpelier, Vermont; her paternal grandparents, Viola and William Higgins, of Mount Holly, Vermont; numerous aunts and uncles, such as Gregory Higgins, Katrin and Tom Tazza, Bethany Thompson, Terase Higgins, Ralph Miller Jr., Joyce Miner, Sam and Marie Miller, Tom and Lenie Miller; numerous cousins; and her pets, Her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Susan Miller, and her uncle, Gary Miller, all predeceased her.
