Cathy Mormyluk. Obituary, Death My thoughts have been going to my good friend, Cathy Mormyluk. The other day, her mother took her last breath. It is such a trying experience to lose a parent. This is a gentle reminder for anyone who is struggling at this very moment I assure you that the discomfort will lessen at some point in the future. However, it does so now. Cry until you can’t anymore, and cry until you feel better. Cry until you can’t anymore.
Your emotions are important, and it is important to acknowledge the hurt you are feeling. Be there for yourself and allow yourself to feel, since allowing yourself to feel is the path to healing yourself. Elizabeth (Beth) Mormyluk passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 81, and her husband and two daughters were there to witness her passing. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Marsh; her children, Cathy (Serge) and Laurie; as well as her two brothers, George (Tina) and Al (Connie) Lovell; as well as a large number of highly valued cousins and close friends. She was married to Marsh for 62 years.
Her parents, Frank Lovell and Ruth Lovell, had passed away before she was born. She was born in Calgary, but her family moved to Edmonton in 1964, and then in 1965, they settled in St. Albert, where she and her husband, Marsh, brought up their children. The entire staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital deserves an enormous amount of gratitude for their hard work. On Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., a Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Albert Funeral Home, which is located at 9 Muir Drive in St. Albert.
