Brenda Wells Obituary, Death – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenda Kay Wells, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength. At the age of 70, Brenda peacefully left this world on November 12, 2023, surrounded by the love she so generously shared throughout her life.

Brenda was born on March 20, 1953, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to the late Eull Wardell and Virginia Lou (Weddle) Hudgins. Despite her petite stature, Brenda’s presence was larger than life. Her feisty spirit, unwavering drive, boundless joy, and resilience made her the heartbeat of her family.

Raised as an only child in Texas, Brenda’s journey took a beautiful turn when she met the love of her life during her Naval service. The couple embarked on a Marine Corps adventure, living across the country until they found their forever home in Tennessee. In Winchester, Brenda co-owned and operated the successful Sovereign Title and Insurance, leaving an indelible mark on the local business landscape before retiring in 2020.

Brenda’s greatest joy was found in her family – her husband of 49 years, Guerry Wells; daughters, Heather Wells, and Wyndi (Jarrod) Duke; grandchildren, Alayna, Austin, Tori, Ryder, Grace, Jaxon, and great-grandson Atticus Sullivan.
